Owned by The Portman Estate, this 3,000-square-foot Georgian grade II listed building was devastated by fire and needed £460,000 of refurbishment. Our contract included renewal of almost three quarters of the floors, plus extensive repairs to load-bearing timber walls and the roof structure. Restoration of all the original features, including cornices and timber mouldings, ensured that the character of the building was preserved.
